Ty'n-y-Morfa Farm Cottages were originally part of an old working farm, that dates back to the 1700's.
The Welsh folk at that time named the farm - Ty'n-y-Morfa (Pronounced Tin-uh-Morrva)
which literally translated from Welsh means "House in the Marsh". The actual
village of Tyn-y-Morfa was subsequently named after the farm itself. The three
Cottages set amidst a courtyard have been tastefully renovated to a high
standard and are fully equipped to cater for all modern requirements.
North Wales offers many diverse attractions, which cater for everyone. To discover
the historical flavour of the area a visit to the famous castles of Rhuddlan,
Conwy and Caernarfon is well recommended. The spectacular hills and mountains
of the Snowdonia National Park is a must and can be totally appreciated by taking
the mountain train to Snowdon's summit.
Within a five minute stroll of the Farm Cottages is Bridlewood Horse Riding
Centre. They have a carefully selected range of well cared for ponies and horses
to provide the size, type and temprament of mount to suit any rider, from complete
novices to experienced riders.
